Our story
How Light and Shade Solutions started
In early 2020, we contacted Blindspace about the Modular 'M' Series. Blindspace was not yet selling it in North America, but when we saw the quality of the product line we knew it was something we wanted to be involved in. In 2021 Light and Shade Solutions was created and soon after we agreed to provide exclusive distribution for the Modular 'M' Series.
Since then Blindspace and Light and Shade Solutions have been working together to provide seamless solutions for both residential and commercial spaces. We also became dealers for Lutron. We aim to provide design solutions to our customers, providing support throughout projects.

Founder and CEO
After nearly 30 years in custom home construction, Brian shifted towards distribution after finding the Modular 'M' Series.
Hannah
Operations Manager
Previously Brian's CAD designer, Hannah now runs operations at Light and Shade Solutions.
Rachel
Office Manager
The talented behind the scenes manager. Rachel cares for corporate structuring, bookkeeping, banking, and administrative tasks.

Authorized Blindspace Distributor
Light and Shade Solutions is the Authorized Distributor and west coast blindspace distributor. We are the exclusive modular m series source in the americas, and the source for TrackTrim recessed drapery housings. We work with architects, builders, AV integrators, shade dealers, designers, and specifiers across the United States.

Sebastopol, California. Serving the trade nationwide.
We are based in Sebastopol, in Sonoma County, and ship nationwide. Deliveries arrive at our office; we are a trade resource, not a retail storefront.
