Our story
Built by builders
Founded in 2020, Light and Shade Solutions grew out of decades in custom home construction. Our founder spent more than 30 years building high-end homes and saw the same problem on every project: beautiful spaces undermined by visible shade and drapery hardware.
The fix is concealment planned early. We bring the recessed pockets and housings, the drawings and CAD, and the coordination support so the shade, blind, or drapery track disappears into the ceiling. You bring the shade. We make it vanish.

Light and Shade Solutions is the Authorized Distributor and west coast blindspace distributor. We are the exclusive modular m series source in the americas, and the source for TrackTrim recessed drapery housings. We work with architects, builders, AV integrators, shade dealers, designers, and specifiers across the United States.

We are based in Sebastopol, in Sonoma County, and ship nationwide. Deliveries arrive at our office; we are a trade resource, not a retail storefront.
