The design called for clean ceilings with no visible fascia or shade boxes, while still delivering full blackout control for a bedroom.
The approach
Blindspace enclosures were specified and roughed in early, so the finished ceiling carries only a hairline slot where the shade emerges.
The result
The shade does its job at night and disappears by day. The ceiling stays clean and the hardware is invisible.
