A full wall of bifolding doors needed shading without a bulky headbox that would interrupt the indoor-outdoor connection.
The approach
The shade assembly was concealed in a recessed enclosure above the opening, coordinated with the door head during construction.
The result
Open, the glass wall is unobstructed. Closed, the blinds provide shade and privacy across the full span, with the hardware tucked out of sight.
