Bathroom, corner windows

Corner-window bath, shades hidden in the ceiling

A bath with steel-grid corner windows where roller shades retract fully into the ceiling, keeping the view and the clean lines.

The same space, shade up versus shade down. The hardware stays hidden in the ceiling.

The challenge

Corner glazing and a freestanding tub left no good place to mount a visible shade box without breaking the clean architectural lines or blocking the view.

The approach

Recessed Blindspace enclosures were coordinated into the ceiling during construction, so the motorized roller shades retract completely out of sight.

The result

With the shades up, the corner windows read as uninterrupted glass. With them down, the room has full privacy and light control, and no visible hardware either way.
