Concealing double and stacked shades on one opening
Many high-end openings call for two shades: a blackout and a sheer, or a side-by-side pair. Both have to operate independently, and both have to disappear.
The challenge
What makes this condition hard
A standard pocket is sized for one roller. Two rollers need more room, more depth, and a layout that keeps each shade clear of the other as it rolls.
Done with surface hardware, a double shade doubles the visible boxes. The point of concealment is that neither shows.
The approach
How concealment solves it
The C Series is made to hold two shades in one concealed pocket, sized to the rollers and the drop, with both shades retracting up and out of sight.
The same approach covers blackout-plus-sheer combinations and side-by-side pairs on a wide opening.
What to provide
- Provide both shade types and their roll-up diameters
- Specify stacked (front and back) or side-by-side
- Give the opening width and the full drop
- Coordinate the deeper rough-in for two rollers

Blackout and sheer together?
Yes, that is one of the most common double-shade setups. Send both fabrics and roll-up diameters and we will size the pocket.
